Privacy Policy

Basil Design Company explains here how we handle information you share through this website. This policy covers website visitors, people who contact us and subscribers to Basil Insights.
Information we collect
When you request an intro call, we collect the contact and project details you enter, such as your name, email address, company, website, services of interest, revenue range, project timeline and notes. For Insights subscriptions, we collect your first name, email address, monthly or quarterly preference, and confirmation or unsubscribe status and dates.
Hosting and security services may process technical information such as browser details, request logs and IP addresses. Form protection uses signed tokens and a hashed client identifier to reduce spam and repeated submissions.
How we use information
Inquiry details help us respond to you, discuss your project and provide requested services. Subscription information lets us confirm your address, deliver the Insights you request and respect your frequency and unsubscribe preferences. Technical information helps us operate, secure and improve the website.
Newsletter and marketing choices
Insights uses double opt-in: submit the form, then confirm your address using the confirmation email. Choose monthly or quarterly emails and unsubscribe using the link in our emails. A project inquiry does not subscribe you to the newsletter.
We do not sell your personal information or share subscriber addresses with other companies for their own marketing.
Service providers and storage
We use Vercel for hosting and media, Neon for database storage, Resend for email delivery, and Sextant for website analytics. Authorized team members use the site’s content management system to handle inquiries and subscriptions. Providers process information needed to perform these services.
Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our providers operate. We use access controls and encrypted connections to protect it, and retain it for the purposes described here, including responding to requests, managing subscriptions, maintaining security and meeting applicable obligations. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Cookies and analytics
The public website uses Sextant to understand visits and website performance. Our configured tracker respects the browser’s Do Not Track setting and does not use advertising cookies. For a sample of visits, Sextant also records clicks and scroll depth to build heatmaps, using your browser’s session storage. It does not record what you type into forms, and heatmap collection does not read the Do Not Track setting. Staff sign-in uses authentication cookies. Linked websites and third-party services have their own policies.
Manage cookies in your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent staff sign-in or other features from working.
Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your information, or to restrict or object to certain processing. Withdraw newsletter consent at any time. Contact us to make a request; we may need to verify your identity before responding. We respond within the time required by applicable law.
If your concern remains unresolved, you may contact the data protection authority that serves your location.
